City Council Meeting on Tuesday

The City Council will meet on Tuesday evening at 7pm at City Hall. There is not much on the agenda, but the following resolution is included in the consent calendar…
Adopt A Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute An Agreement With McNabb Construction, Inc. For The Construction Of Frog Pad Park For An Amount Not To Exceed $487,063 And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute All Contracts And Approve All Budget Expenditures Pertaining To The Project For An Amount Not To Exceed The Total Appropriated Amount Of $750,000 Without Further Action Of The City Council.
That’s right, if all goes well, the Waterfront will finally have a park. This is certainly a long overdue project, and I’m glad the City has finally decided to break ground.
A concept of the plans have been previously published on Waterfront Watch (PDF) but I will inquire with the City for the final plans.
