In the 2007 calendar year, 121 homes were foreclosed on in the City of Hercules (as defined by the 94547 zip code). In addition, there were 390 notices of default. With an estimated 8,220 homes in the city, that is 14.72 foreclosures per 1,000 homes.
For comparison purposes, in 2006, there were 5 foreclosures and 123 notices of default.
