City Council Meeting Tomorrow

The consent calendar for Tuesday evening’s City Council meeting — 7pm @ City Hall — includes a five-year contract extension for City Manager Nelson Oliva (through June 30, 2013). Also, the City will pay for an aerial survey of the Chelsea Wetlands, and start the process of cleaning up the Corporation Yard, located just east of Willet Street and the Baywood development. (Current plans for future use of the land that occupies the Corporation Yard include a school and park-space.)

In addition to the consent calendar, there is also a public hearing on the Council’s decision to have the Education Commission go “dormant” until early 2009.

The complete agenda is available on the City’s website.
