Farmers Market

The Hercules Farmers Market has a website. My only complaint, er, constructive criticism, is that the calendar should not be in PDF form — but in web form, no downloading necessary — and more readable. Other than that, the site lists all of the vendors, and the seasons the different types of produce will be available (see unreadable calendar mentioned above).

The Farmers Market is staged outside of the Home Depot* on Saturday evenings, from 4pm through 8pm, May through October.

* New Town Center — when it is developed — will be an obvious perfect replacement location for the Farmers Market. The Home Depot parking lot, however convenient (with ample parking), makes it difficult to enjoy the setting. It is also hard to imagine setting out for some lumber on a Saturday evening, and returning home with a bushel of peaches. Or vice versa.
