Planning Commission: Parking Permits

The Planning Commission asked City staff about the proposed parking ordinance during the May 19 Planning Commission meeting, and one issue that came up was the number of permits each residence would be provided. The ordinance calls for three, but that does not mean you cannot have four cars, as one commissioner pointed out…

My interpretation… Under the proposed parking ordinance, each residence would be allowed to park a maximum of three vehicles in the street, and those three vehicles do not necessarily need to be the same. Additionally, visitor parking may be addressed, allowing residents to have short-term increased parking.
