DEAR SIR OR MADAM,

Subject: Conditional Use Permit No. 08-02 Public Notification; Sala Thai restaurant

The purpose of this letter is to notify you of a pending application before the Hercules Planning Commission. A public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 111 Civic Drive, Hercules, California, at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2008, to consider:

CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 08-02, a request to construct interior improvements in an existing 2,059+/- square foot building with 8 parking spaces on site. The project is located in the Historic Overlay District at 1991 Railroad Avenue, east of Santa Fe Avenue, and west of Promenade Street in the City of Hercules. The applicant is Prathumrat (Kay) Sala representing Sala Thai restaurant.

If you want more information about this project, please contact Dennis Tagashira, Planning Manager, weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., or 1:30 p.m. to 5:0 0 p.m. A staff report for this project will be available the Wednesday before the public hearing date. You may come to our offices or call (510) 799-8243. You may also submit a letter to the Planning Commission on or before the hearing date.

Any person may attend the hearing and speak in favor or against this project. If you challenge the Planning Commission’s action on this project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission on or before the date of the hearing (Government Code Section 69009[b][2]).

NOTE: This item may be continued. Please contact the Planning Division prior to the public hearing date in order to assure that this item will be presented.
