First Installment of Police Blotter

The Chief of Police — Fred Deltorchio — has released the first installment of the weekly police blotter. I had advocated personally for a blotter two years ago, and I’m glad to see it in action. It is a perfect way for residents to see what is going on in the city (and the neighborhood) without knowing all the details.

2:03 AM – Traffic stop on the 1100 block of Earnest Street. The driver was arrested for DUI.
Friday August 8, 2008
4:30 AM – Report of an assault at a residence at the 1100 block of Earnest Street.
It’s just like watching the show “Cops.”
