With Councilmember Charleen Raines opting not to run for re-election, I thought it would be appropriate to recall the lighter side of her time in office. I wanted to call these the “Best of Raines,” but upon realizing that these three videos actually only took place within the last two months or so, I figured there must be many other moments of equal significance. And in July, Raines delivered a Berkeley-esque rebuke of the Iraq war (before ultimately apologizing)…
