Times: John Swett schools improve in English, drop in math

In the interest of fairness to the previous post critical of WCCUSD, the John Swett schools are struggling as well… “Overall, John Swett ranked below the state average in both subjects. About 39 percent of John Swett students met the mark in English, while 38.3 percent made the grade in math.”
Leaving WCCUSD for John Swett is one of three main alternatives for Hercules schools (and part of a recent secession attempt that was turned back by the County), along with the creation of a new school district and the development of charter schools. Any other ideas?
