City Council Meeting Tomorrow

Another cramped agenda is set for Tuesday’s City Council meeting — 7pm at City Hall — despite five public hearings recommended to be continued at a later date by staff. The evening starts with WCCUSD delivering a presentation on Measure D, a parcel tax ballot measure that will purportedly shore up the school district’s funding (which the Council will vote to support in the consent calendar).

The consent calendar is lengthy as well, including: a 62-thousand dollar lighting design contract to be awarded for Sycamore Downtown; a 1.1-million dollar contract for surveying and civil engineering services to be awarded for the Sycamore Crossing project (formerly Hercules Crossing, formerly Penterra Poe); and a 90-thousand dollar contract to be awarded for consulting services for Hilltown.

As part of unfinished business, the Council will also vote to adopt an ordinance approving a development agreement for Hilltown.

And the Council will vote to increase HMU service rates following a public hearing on the subject.

The complete agenda is available on the City’s website.
