No Trash Can at Frog Pad Park?

This may just have been a temporary lapse, but some residents are puzzled that the wonderful new Frog Pad Park — which includes a handful of picnic tables — does not include a trash and recycle bin. Hopefully the Parks and Recreation Department will see to this in short order.
The park is a great place for families and young children, and not being able to discard one’s trash in a responsible manner will only lead to littering problems.
We love the addition of Frog Park to our neighborhood.
Yeah I’m sure the city has a whole punch list of items that still need to be completed, but what a cool little park and what an improvement over the plateau of dirt that used to be there!
A temporary garbage can has already been placed at the site as of yesterday morning. The trash receptacle/recycle bins are in route and should be installed later this week or early next week.
The City is also looking into adding a drinking fountain to the park, hopefully within the next couple weeks.
