This IE Bug

I do not use Microsoft Internet Explorer,* so I did not discover this “operation aborted” bug until only very recently (after a few readers tipped me on the subject). After some research, it appears that this issue has come about since early- to mid-August, and it happens to occur when scripts on a web page start to load before the entire web page has loaded (and the newest version of IE apparently does not like this).

There are many work-arounds posted on the web, but none of them deal with the root problem. That is, until Microsoft fixes this bug, Internet Explorer users will be unable to read this blog until I’ve removed all scripts. (I have used scripts for search, comments and ads.)

Instead of trying to make IE like this website, I’ve decided to re-build it using WordPress, and that is why the look-and-feel has changed dramatically. So it goes…

* I use Firefox.
