Kuehne Wins Final Council Seat

All the votes have been counted… “In the Hercules race, Donald Kuehne beat John Delgado for the final seat by 26 votes. His lead narrowed by 23 votes since the previous update.”
Ed Balico, Joanne Ward and Don Kuehne will join Kris Valstad and Joe Eddy McDonald on the Council for the next two years. McDonald will become mayor. I believe it is Valstad’s turn at vice-mayor.

I wish I could excited about this, and Don is a likeable enough guy but I feel it will just be the status quo.
Add on top of that Ed Balico has some questions to answer, I’m not sure how strong of a Council this really is.
If Mr. Balico continues to dodge these questions and not be forthcoming, perhaps a recall is something to consider.
I hope John Delgado considers running again in 2010.
