Times: Hercules hoping garden gives community a lift

— by Jeffrey Wisniewski — 30 April 2009 — Comments Off

Work begins on the community garden at Ohlone Park… “This weekend will bring the first weekly work party to create the raised beds where the garden will be planted. Any and all volunteers who want to be part of the Hercules Community Garden are welcome to come out from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday to build beds, move concrete and set up perimeters.”

A plan is available on the organization’s website.
