Planning Commission Meeting on Monday
— by Jeffrey Wisniewski — 1 October 2009 — Comments Off
The sole purpose of the next Planning Commission meeting on Monday — 7pm at City Hall — is the presentation of the two alternatives for the Intermodal Station. The Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council for final decision.
Interesting of note, the Planning Commission’s ad-hoc subcommittee for the Waterfront and Intermodal Station is comprised of Commission Chair Sherry McCoy and Commissioner Jose Bibal. McCoy was present at the latest town hall meeting on the subject. Bibal has been completely absent from the meetings.
The Planning Commission voiced concerns on the design process in July; those concerns were addressed by Chair McCoy, Vice-Chair Myrna deVera, and long-time Commissioner Richard Mitchell. Three community workshops have taken place since.
The complete agenda is available on the City’s website.
