Hercules Waterfront Route

When Measure J (the County transportation sales tax) passed in 2004, one of the items earmarked for funding was the creation of a new local bus-line called the “Hercules Waterfront Route.”

It is obvious that the route shown is not preferable. It was apparently drawn without the knowledge that the extension of John Muir Parkway would serve as the main access point to the new train and ferry terminal.
The funding was set to begin in 2010 in the amount of $800k (as part of the Measure J funds, which extended the sales tax for twenty-five years through 2034), but that route will clearly not be ready in time (neither the road extension nor the station will be finished in 2010). But when the intermodal station does open, taxpayers have voted to fund this new route, which will serve as a local feeder line exclusively for the residents of Hercules (although it could serve neighboring Rodeo as well with stops along Willow Avenue).
What stops in the city do you think the route should include (e.g., the library, community center, etc.)?
