— by Jeffrey Wisniewski — 23 December 2009 — Comments Off

The issue of fairness and equity is unavoidable when you hand out very large loans to City employees and insiders… “[Hercules resident Dave] Crescenti learned about the mitigation program from reports about some six-figure bailout loans, including one of $460,000 in June 2009 to Eguzki Olano, the administrative assistant to the Hercules city manager, and one of $295,000 in June 2008 to Rachael Redford, the project manager of the Hercules Affordable Housing program, which is run under contract out of a mobile office adjacent to City Hall by a private firm, Affordable Housing Solutions Group/NEO Consulting Inc.“
