Sycamore Downtown Announces Café as First Tenant

Bean Bag Cafe is the first tenant that has signed a lease for Sycamore North, the first phase of Sycamore Downtown that is currently under construction (the second phase is Sycamore Crossing). The cafe will assume a prime space in the middle of the development, one of the four retail spaces that are planned as restaurants.
At Saturday’s Community Update event, a representative of Main Street Property Services — the firm contracted to retain quality tenants for the future retail development and are marketing the project as “Sycamore Avenue”1 — handed out fliers with Yelp reviews from the cafe’s existing location in San Francisco.
No opening date has been established for Bean Bag Cafe or Sycamore North.
- Yet another name. The project has been known as Sycamore Main Street, Sycamore Downtown, Sycamore North, and now Sycamore Avenue. Sycamore Avenue is probably the most marketable; think Solano Avenue. These people are professionals.↩
I have been to the Bean Bag Cafe in the city and enjoyed it. The place has a good vibe and tasty sangria. :)
