Times: West County schools to attempt parcel tax in November

A long-time board member had an interesting take… “Board member Charles Ramsey maintained that both the 5- and 7.2-cent amounts are within the margin of error for getting a two-thirds vote, and either could be a close call. ‘Since I could lose either one, I have to go for 7.2 cents,’ Ramsey said, adding that with either tax amount, district leaders will need to work to persuade some voters who are on the fence.

Over 60% of my property tax goes to West County school district and I think that is quite enough. Heck no on this parcel tax in November.

Voting no on the parcel tax is the right answer and while I am at it, I will vote for someone other than Charles Ramsey. Enough is enough.
