Councilmember Joe Eddy McDonald’s candidate statement seemingly goes out of its way to not mention the Waterfront. It also calls for the status quo: a vote for McDonald will allow him “to continue to enhance the performance of the city council.” Does this mean more grand jury investigations? (He’s also ageless.)
It should be noted that McDonald had once converted personal tragedy into civic virtue. However, reckless government requires an expiration date. And that date is long past in Hercules.
