McDonald Flier “Delivered”

Anyone notice that the recent Joe Eddy McDonald reelection flier has the word “delivers” (as in leadership and results) in quotes? What does that mean? It’s worth mentioning.1
One of McDonald’s campaign priorities is to reduce traffic congestion. The Waterfront development is not listed.
- I understand it’s a play on his past role as postmaster, however McDonald has never delivered anything but mail, and this flier.↩
My concern is not with what he has delivered – nothing – but what he wants to block from being delivered apparently – the new urbanism Waterfront Development and Intermodal Station. mr. McDonald apparently has a lack of vision. As Mr. Long pointed out, we are in an unusual situation in which the citizens are clamoring for progress and change – a greener community and one in which our residents can walk, shop, and be entertained without ever needing a car, and the Council Members appear to want to maintain the status quo. As he said, usually its the other way around. The City of Hercules once had a vision – a forward thinking progressive green vision for its City. Has the vision been lost? I believe the citizens of Hercules deserve better., Its time for a change.
