Speaking of spending…a question to those who support a Recall Election of 1 to 3 Council members…how much will the Recall Election cost the taxpayers of Hercules? And from which fund will the money come? Before I make a final decision, I could like a few more facts.
Perhaps a better strategy would be to work with the current Councilmembers and try to solve all of the problems. Mr Oliva has agreed to leave, the contract with the affordable housing contractor has been cancelled, a full financial audit is coming, etc. These steps are not a total solution, but we are at least moving in the right direction.
