This post is not advocating a position on the Recall, but asking a question. If the Recall proponents collect enough signitures for a Recall of two councilmembers, what will the ballot look like in June? My other assumption is that the Council opts for a special election to replace Mr Balico. (Let the people decide)

If I understand the process, the voters will have 5 questions to answer on the June ballot:
    1. select a replacement for Mr Balico
    2. Recall Mr Kehne
    3. select a replacement for Mr Kehne if the recall wins
    4. Recall Ms Ward
    5. Select a replacement for Ms Ward if the recall wins

And any potential City Council candidate would have to select a single slot to run under, prior to the actual election. (Question 1, 3, or 5).

Is this correct? And if so, will the best candidate win, or the luckiest one who picks the right slot?

I would guess that the ballot would have multiple items:
    1. Should Keuhne be recalled? Y or N
    2. Should Ward be recalled? Y or N
    3. Vote for no more than 3 from the list of candidates.

The candidate with the highest vote count would fill the current open position.
If items 1 and 2 pass, then the candidates with the 2nd and 3rd highest vote counts would fill those positions.
If items 1 and 2 do not pass, then the current council members would remain.
