Times: Filing period opens for vacant Hercules council seat

Tom Lochner reports… “The filing period to run for a vacant Hercules City Council seat opened this week. March 11 is the deadline for filing nomination petitions with the Hercules City Clerk to run in the June 7 election for the unfinished term of former Mayor Ed Balico, who resigned Jan. 11, citing family issues; the term runs until December 2012.”

    If Jeff runs for office we loose a great resource. Jeff is a great watchdog who writes wonderful commentary. If he is in the game we loose his voice! Just saying. :)
