Jeffrey Wisniewski moved to Hercules in 2004. Raised in a suburb of Buffalo, New York, Jeffrey earned degrees in Civil Engineering (B.S.) and Geotechnical Engineering (M.S.) at Syracuse University and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively, and is currently an engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He is married to his college sweetheart, and is proud to be both the original homeowner of a Baywood coastal Victorian cottage and the guardian of a lovable black lab.
Jeffrey started Waterfront Watch in 2007 as a means to share news with interested neighbors, and — for all intents and purposes — it has ballooned wildly out of his control since. He is a proponent of New Urbanism, pedestrianism, smart growth, and the historical integrity of the Hercules Waterfront.
